the road less traveled

William Maloney, is a filmmaker/photographer and graduate of the New York University Intensive Filmmaking Program. His present interests include documentary photography, narrative and non-narrative film, long distance hiking and immersion in the cultures of the developing world. In the late 90s, he created and produced an internationally syndicated entertainment news series for television, called “Reel Planet: Entertainment News For Planet Youth." Recently, he retired from the film and television industries as a lead scenic artist and is a member of IATSE (International Alliance of Theatrical and Stage Engineers). His heroes are ordinary people that have found the courage to overcome adversity to live life on life terms. When not traveling, he makes his home in Santa Fe, New Mexico.
